Meghan Markle rushes to defend herself after repeating As Ever blunder
The Duchess of Sussex has left fans empty-handed once again after her new product drop
Meghan Markle is speaking out after fans were once again left empty-handed during the latest As Ever product drop.
On Friday, June 20, the Duchess of Sussex released the second product wave from her lifestyle brand. But within just 10 minutes, both the new Apricot Spread in Keepsake Packaging and Limited-Edition Orange Blossom Honey were sold out.
To make matters worse, the only other new item teased — a Napa Valley rosé — wasn’t even available to purchase. Instead, fans were asked to sign up for updates ahead of its July 1 release.
“We spent so much time making sure we had SO much more inventory,” Meghan, 43, explained in a video posted to her Instagram Stories just an hour after the drop.
“It’s why we took the time and you guys are doing it again! We’re nearly sold out on everything, and I can’t believe it. Even flower sprinkles…” she added.
It’s the second time fans have been caught off guard as the brand’s debut in April also sold out in under an hour, leaving many empty-handed.
At the time, Meghan sent out a newsletter to fans, writing, “Our shelves may be empty, but my heart is full! We sold out in less than one hour and I can’t thank you enough…”
Over the next two months, Meghan kept her customers on their toes as she opened up about wanting to take a “step back” and “figure out” her next move. She also emphasised that she didn’t want to “annoy” customers with inconsistent product drops.
