Sarah Ferguson joins Harry, Meghan's meaningful mission: 'You’re not alone'

Sarah Ferguson released an emotional statement about a cause close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's heart after being snubbed by King Charles.

On June 16, the Duchess of York took to her Instagram page to talk about the growing numbers of people dealing with mental health issues, which is also a goal of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Sarah shared that she recently visited Paracelsus Recovery in Zurich, which is a "clinic known for its discreet, bespoke care for those facing complex mental health and addiction challenges, to learn more."

The mother-of-two said that mental health has no boundaries as it can touch any human being. Emphasizing that it is high time that we promote open conversations surrounding mental disorders and how we can improve access to mental healthcare across society.

She shared a picture of herself posing with the mental health professionals, penning, "Conversations with Dr Thilo Beck and @jangerberofficial, the clinic’s founder, were illuminating. Jan’s mission is one I deeply respect and share: to bring mental health out of the shadows and into open, compassionate conversation."

She added, "Dr Beck has decades of experience and a role advising governments on health policy, and is determined to make his expertise available to all, doing extraordinary work with homeless people suffering from mental health and addiction problems."

At the end of her heartfelt message, Sarah encouraged people to seek help if they or their loved ones are struggling with mental health issues.

"You are not alone, and there is no shame in taking the steps towards healing," she concluded.

It is important to note that Harry and Meghan are also big advocates, raising awareness about the harms of the online world and its impact on mental health.

Sarah seemingly followed in the footsteps of Sussexes after the Yorks did not make it to the King's birthday parade ceremony amid the ongoing tensions between Prince Andrew and the monarch.
