Prince Harry appears to be feeling unsure about his next venture after a slew of setbacks and how his wife Meghan Markle has been soaring through her recent wins.
The Duke of Sussex has increasingly finding himself being left behind as the Duchess “ruthlessly” chases after one business venture after the other. Meghan had kicked off her year with her return to Instagram and then the slew of her businesses followed behind.
In just six months, Meghan released her Netflix show, podcast with Lemonada Media and her much-anticipated lifestyle brand, As Ever. Meanwhile, Harry has been retreated into the background except when his Invictus Games were happening for in February.
According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, Harry is “increasingly finding himself as the spare in a relationship with Meghan which undoubtedly involves mutual affection, but where their priorities differ widely”.
He told MailOnline that King Charles’s younger son lacks the same “ruthless” ambitions for his next business move.
Previously, it was revealed that Harry is planning to launch his own as-yet-undisclosed commercial venture in the next few months, he remains focused on his charity work.
Fitzwilliams noted that Harry feels more comfortable in his charity work unlike Meghan who thrives in making money.
“Invictus means a lot to him, it was a joy to see him at the WellChild Awards last year. He genuinely enjoyed being with the children, it seemed as though the ‘old Harry’ was temporarily back,” the royal expert said.
“However, though often emotional, he lacks Meghan’s ruthlessness, which was so apparent in the Oprah interview.”
