Marseille: Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo had to swerve the attentions of a pitch invader during his side´s Euro 2016 quarter-final against Poland in Marseille on Thursday.
The intruder, wearing a Portugal shirt with Ronaldo´s number 7, charged onto the field during the second-half of extra-time with the score tied at 1-1 and headed straight for Ronaldo. The Real Madrid star dodged out the way before the man was dragged off the field by 14 security personnel.
Marseille was the scene for widespread violence between England and Russia fans on the opening weekend of the tournament.
