Meghan Markle's viral video would've 'upset' King Charles, echoing Fergie's controversy
Meghan Markle's maternity video likely to shock King Charles
Meghan Markle would have left King Charles 'horrified' with her unusual choice to post a video of herself twerking to induce labor, a royal expert has suggested.
The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex is reportedly 'pleased' with the response to the viral video she shared last week, despite facing criticism.
To note, Meghan posted a lighthearted video clip of herself and Prince Harry dancing in celebration of their daughter Princess Lilibet's fourth birthday.
The video, originally filmed in 2021, features the couple dancing in a hospital delivery home as they awaited Lilibet's birth, set to viral track The Baby Momma Dance by Starrkeisha.
Meghan was seen lifting her skirt slightly above her knees, raising her arms, and twerking with her hands on her hips. Veteran royal expert Jennie Bond described the footage as 'astonishing on any level,' adding what the King would have thought of it.
Speaking to The Mirror: 'The hours before you give birth are some of the most personal, intimate and private in the lives of any couple.
'Giving birth is a serious business, and anything to lighten the mood is welcome..'
However-to share those scenes with the world is utterly bizarre and, in my view, take away all the magic of the moment.'
'I can hear the voice of the late Queen's former private secretary, Lord Charteris. repeating the comments once he made about Fergie:' Vulgar, vulgar, vulgar.'
'If the King has watched it, which I doubt, though he can not have, missed the headlines I'm sure he would be horrified.'
To note, till today the Instagram reel has racked up an impressive 40.7 million views just days after being posted.
