The Duchess of Sussex made her return to social media reels on New Year's Day after a long hiatus and has since drawn significant attention.
Her Instagram account has achieved an average of 7.6 million views per reel across 22 posts, totalling 168 million views so far this year.
Her most popular reel-announcing the rebranding of her online shop from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever, alone has reached 26.9 million views since February.
In comparison, Prince William and Princess Kate's Instagram account, despite boasting a massive following of 16.8 million, has averaged just 2.8 million views per reel.
Across 47 reels, their content has garnered a total of 134.8 million total views in 2025.
One possible reason behind Meghan's higher engagement could be the exclusivity of her Instagram page-it remains the only official platform offering direct updates from her.
In contrast, William's and Kate updates are distributed across multiple social media platforms, potentially diluting traffic on Instagram.
