Despite being the next in line to the throne and having a heavy responsibility on his shoulders, Prince William appears to be every bit of a family man for wife Kate Middleton and their three children.

The Prince of Wales often takes breaks during the year to spend some time with the family but an unusual habit of his appears to be something his children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – are not happy about.

As the future King, William is assigned some important tasks to take on behalf of his father King Charles, which means that he would have to travel abroad solo for important royal duties. William’s solo travels seem to irk his children, which the royal jokingly revealed during one such trip.

One favourite vacation spot for the Waleses is Tresco — a favourite destination for the family located in the Isles of Scilly, which is part of the Duchy of Cornwall.

Last year, when William visited the Isles of Scilly on royal duty, he revealed that his family would be “very upset” that he was there without them, via The Daily Mail.

“The children will kill me if I don’t go home later.” It was also revealed that William bought pastries from the On the Quay cafe, possibly to bring home and share with his family.

Over the weekend, William once again visited his duchy, which he inherited from his father King Charles after his ascension, to share the work he has been doing to improve the living conditions of its residents.

It would seem that the father of three had to take another bargaining treat for his children for making a solo trip to their vacation spot once again.
