Princess Eugenie’s son has fans seeing double
Princess Eugenie shares adorable family photos to mark son Ernest’s 2nd birthday
Princess Eugenie has thrilled royal fans by sharing a heartwarming collection of never before seen family photos to celebrate her youngest son Ernest’s second birthday.
The Royal took to Instagram on Friday to mark the special occasion, posting a carousel of snaps featuring little Ernest alongside his big brother August, four, and dad Jack Brooksbank.
The images capture the young family enjoying everyday moments from muddy outdoor adventures and garden playtime to sunny holidays and strolls through London.
In one particularly charming shot, Ernest is seen wearing a pair of sunglasses upside down as he explores the capital with the curiosity only a toddler can pull off.
Eugenie captioned the post with a sweet tribute, "Happy Birthday my darling Ernie. 2 today! And what an incredible two years it’s been. Always smiling, always laughing, always giving hugs and hellos and making everyone happy. My golden boy, we love you!"
Fans flooded the comments with birthday wishes and delight at the rare glimpse into the royal’s down-to-earth family life.
While Ernest and August may be part of the Royal Family, the two young brothers are expected to grow up largely out of the public eye.
Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank have greater freedom to raise their children away from the spotlight.
The couple is said to be focused on providing Ernest and August with a grounded, private upbringing, far removed from the pressures of royal duty.
