Princess Eugenie makes key statement after new role announcement
Princess Eugenie receives another honour after joining King Charles' team
Princess Eugenie made the York family proud by taking over another key role after joining King Charles' passion project as a mentor.
According to Hello! Magazine, the Princess of York has been appointed as a Global Ambassador for Thirty Six For Coral, an art exhibition and auction dedicated to coral reef conservation.
For the unversed, Eugenie is quite vocal about saving planet and ocean conservation alongside her full-time job as an Associate Director at gallery Hauser & Wirth.
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter continues to support charities and meaningful projects together.
While speaking about her new job, Eugenie expressed her gratefulness for the beginning of her new journey.
She said, "Despite occupying less than 1 per cent of the seabed, coral reefs support 25 per cent of all life in the ocean, and one billion people around the world depend on coral reefs for food and jobs."
The mother-of-two added, "I'm pleased to be supporting Thirty Six for Coral, an important art exhibition that will help connect more people to the irreplaceable value of coral reefs, and raise essential funding to help protect and restore them for future generations."
The member of royal family joins celebrities like Sienna Miller and Cara Delevingne to support the exhibition launching on June 12, 2024, during the 2025 UN Ocean Conference in Nice.
It is pertinent to mention that Princess Eugenie was appointed as the ambassador of Thirty Six For Coral after The King's Foundation honoured her with the role of mentor for the organization's 35 Under 35 network.
