King Charles' team released a statement after Princess Anne, on behalf of the royal family, visited a hospital in Liverpool after the tragic incident.
On the official Instagram page of the royal family, a series of photos were released, featuring Zara Tindall's mother appreciating the efforts of frontline workers.
The statement alongside the pictures reads, "The Princess Royal has visited the Royal Liverpool University Hospital to thank nurses, consultants and paramedics, as well as representatives from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and Liverpool FC, following the terrible incident on Monday."
It is pertinent to mention that on Monday, a car drove into a crowd of Liverpool fans on Monday evening, injuring several people, including children.
The accident occurred during a Premier League victory parade in Liverpool’s city centre organized by the city's official football team.
Anne's brother, King Charles released an emotional statement to mourn the demise of innocent lives lost due to the horrific incident.
Moreover, the future King and Queen, Prince William and Princess Kate shared a personal message, extending prayers and wishes to the victims of the Liverpool tragedy.
