Queen Elizabeth spotted Meghan Markle's 'rude' behaviour with staff
Late Queen took note of Meghan Markle's harsh attitude
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot on May 19, 2018, at St George's Chapel in Windsor.
Like any bride, Meghan was understandably anxious in the days leading up to her wedding.
According to royal biographer Katie Nicholl, Meghan found herself in a tense moment with a staff member during a menu tasting at Windsor Castle, Daily Mail reports.
During the tasting, Meghan reportedly became upset after being able to taste egg in what was thought to be a vegan dish.
One source told Nicholl in her book The New Royals, 'She got quite upset,' the Queen intervened right away and said Meghan, in this family we do not speak to people like that.'
This was not the first time Meghan's perceived harshness toward staff attracted attention.
Royal historian Hugo Vickers has claimed that Meghan and Harry were living at Frogmore Cottage, a senior staff member complained about the Duchess's dismissive behaviour towards an under-gardener.
According to Vickers, the incident prompted the staff member to report the matter to the Queen.
