Prince William steps out alone, then speaks from heart

Prince William delighted royal fans with a rare personal message following his solo appearance at Saturday’s FA Cup final and he had plenty to celebrate.

Taking to the official Prince and Princess of Wales X account, the 42-year-old royal congratulated Crystal Palace on their stunning 1-0 victory over Manchester City in what proved to be a historic and hard-fought match at Wembley Stadium.

"Congratulations @CPFC on a brilliant FA Cup victory! A historic win and a performance to remember. The support was amazing, you’ve made your fans proud!" William wrote, alongside a vibrant video capturing the electric atmosphere and key moments from the match.

As President of the Football Association, Prince William has long been a passionate supporter of the sport, and his message struck a personal tone celebrating not just the result, but the spirit and energy of the game. 

The win, secured by a crucial goal from England star Eberechi Eze, marked a major triumph for Crystal Palace and sent shockwaves through the football world.

Though he attended the match without Princess Kate, who remains out of the spotlight, William's post-match message was a winning moment in itself for football fans and royal watchers alike.

“Great to see you supporting the game. Looking forward to the women’s finals next!” one follower commented. 

Royal sources have since confirmed that the Prince and Princess of Wales are set to reunite in the coming week for an important visit to Scotland.
