The event has been held on the grounds of Windsor Castle since 1943. Elizabeth had been a regular attendee of the event until her last appearance in 2022, just months before her death.
Charles was seen using what appeared to be a walking stick while enjoying chat with people ate the event. Edward was all smiles while having the company of his eldest brother in chic outfit.
Both brothers were pictured deep in conversation as they perused the various sights of the event.
Duchess Sophie, Prince Edward’s wife, also accompanied her husband and the King, who respects her as the loyal and stead fast member of the royal family.
Prince Edward is all set to attend the ceremony in Rome on Sunday in lieu of King Charles or the Prince of Wales. The inauguration Mass for the 267th Pontiff and Bishop of Rome will take place on the morning of May 18 at St Peter’s Square.
Prince William previously attended Pope Francis' funeral on behalf of the King due to a longstanding royal rule.
A spokesman for Buckingham Palace confirmed: "The Duke of Edinburgh will represent His Majesty at the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV."
However, no reason has yet been given for the King’s absence at the upcoming ceremony. The Duchess of Edinburgh, will not join him to observe to the ascension of the first north American pope.
On May 15, Earl Spencer appeared on Loose Men in honor of Mental Health Awareness Week, where he spoke about the emotional toll of Diana’s death and the deep bond they shared growing up.
