Zayn Malik fans aren’t asking for much. At this point even a "Zelfie" would be enough to ease their post-tour withdrawal from the former One Direction star.
Zayn, 32, has seemingly slipped back into his social media hiatus as he hasn’t posted anything after wrapping up his first-ever solo tour in a decade since leaving the boy band in 2015.
He hasn’t added any new posts to his official Instagram since April 1, when he shared a photo featuring himself on stage during his concert in Mexico.
However, ZAYN HQ, the official fan account posting under the handle @inZAYN, continues to share updates about the Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker.
The comments on their latest post are filled with fans pleading for Zayn to share a new Zelfie.
"Zayn i know it’s you on here, GIVE US THIS ZELFIE PLEASE OMG," wrote one admirer, followed by the other, "Please tell him to grab his f phone and get some WiFi connection and post a new Zelife [three crying emojis]."
"Awww, someone tell him we miss him so much," expressed a third fan, echoing the sentiments of several others.
The timing of the post and fans' eagerness was quite interesting, as it comes only a day before Zayn’s ex, Gigi Hadid, turns 30.
The exes share a four-year-old daughter, Khai Malik, and continue to co-parent her amicably despite parting ways a year after her birth.
