Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis has recently unveiled the cover of her upcoming book.
On April 17, the author, who married Bruce in 2009, announced the guide to caregiving and what she’s learned after her husband’s frontotemporal dementia diagnosis in her new book.
“I’m honoured to share the cover of my first book, The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope and Yourself on the Caregiving Path,” wrote Emma in a caption.
Bruce’s wife said, “Born from grief, shaped by love and guided by purpose, this is the book I needed back when Bruce was first diagnosed and I was frozen with fear and uncertainty.”
Emma, who shares two daughters with Bruce, stated, “This is the book I trust will help the next caregiver.”
“It is filled with support, insight and the hope needed to navigate this journey,” remarked the entrepreneur.
Emma added, “This book is for all of us finding our way through the unknown with love, grit and courage. You are not alone.”
In a statement shared by The Open Field published, Emma reflected on her unexpected journey, adding, “Dementia not only affects your loved one but can shake a whole family’s foundation, and self, if you allow it.”
Meanwhile, The Unexpected Journey will hit the bookstores on September 9.
