Meghan Markle's new podcast, TV show face harsh reviews despite strong viewership
Meghan Markle struggles to find where she truly belongs
Meghan Markle is extremely fortunate to start her new year 2025 with a busy schedule, launching her new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, a Netflix cooking show With Love, Meghan, and her lifestyle brand As Ever.
However, royal experts claim the Duchess of Sussex, 43, is struggling to connect with a clear target audience.
Speaking on The Sun Royal Exclusive show, GB News Royal correspondent Cameron Walker noted that the reviews for both the podcast and Tv series have been 'pretty scathing.'
He added, 'Although it was number 10 on Spotify, this podcast, her Netflix series was also in the top 10. So although, the reviews are bad, people are still watching it. So the question is going to be, are people watching it because they love to hate it or do they genuinely enjoy watching it or listening.'
The eight-part podcast, produced with Lemonada Media, follows Meghan's journey as an entrepreneur.
Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson remarked: 'It's very US focused. I think all her guests are mainly based in America so far.' Cameron questioned if the UK audience 'love to hate Meghan' while 'the US just don't care anymore.'
For the unversed, Meghan moved to California with her husband Prince Harry and their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet after sensational exit from the UK as the couple stepped down as working royals in 2020.
