Harris Dickinson and Scarlett Johansson share exciting news before Cannes Film Festival
Scarlett Johansson and Harrison Dickinson are chartering into a new territory in their careers at Cannes Film Festival this year.
Johansson, 40, and Dickinson, 28, are going to make their directorial debuts at this year’s biggest film festival, according to the recently revealed lineup.
The Black Widow star will premiere her movie, Eleanor the Great, in the festival held in May, which stars June Squibb, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Jessica Hecht, as per The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie centres around a 90-year-old woman from Florida who befriends a 19-year-old in New York City.
Whereas, the Babygirl actor will make his directorial debut with his movie, Urchin, which he also wrote himself, and is about a homeless man living in London.
This comes after the lineup for 2025’s high-profile festival revealed many big names, including Emma Stone, Joaquin Phoenix and Austin Butler, who are set to premiere their new movie, Eddington.
Additionally, Wes Anderson will debut The Phoenician Scheme, and director Richard Linklater will play his New Wave at the event.
Much to fan’s delight, Tom Cruise Christopher McQuarrie will also premiere their Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning on May 14th, which is the second night of the festival.
The star-studded festival will start from May 13th and go on till May 24th.
