Inside Sydney Sweeney's shock reunion with ex-fiance Jonathan Davino
The 'Euphoria' star, 27, was grabbed lunch with Davino, 40, just days after ending their seven-year relationship
Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino may have ended their engagement, but they're not cutting each other out of their lives.
Over the weekend, the former couple was spotted grabbing lunch together in Los Angeles just days after ending their seven-year relationship.
“This wasn’t just a relationship. This was two people living together and planning a future,” a source told People magazine, explaining why the exes are still spending time together.
“They still have things to figure out," the source added, noting that Sweeney is still focused on her work.
For the outing, the Euphoria star, 27, kept things low-key in a blue hoodie and sunglasses as she joined Davino, 40, at the Beverly Glen Deli. They reportedly spent an hour at the eatery before leaving together, and were then spotted walking her dog, Tank.
Sweeney first sparked split rumours in February when she checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel solo, shortly after news broke that their May wedding had been postponed. By March, she quietly deleted a PDA-heavy photo of Davino from her Instagram.
Us Weekly later confirmed the engagement was off, with People reporting the official breakup on March 31.
Sources say the Anyone But You actress had been feeling “overwhelmed” by both the relationship and the looming wedding.
“She didn’t feel right about it,” one insider shared. But despite walking away from the engagement, Sweeney is “doing well” and focused on her career.
