'A Minecraft Movie' director addresses possibility of sequel

Jason Momoa starrer A Minecraft Movie has tuned out be a blockbuster of 2025 as it broken records at the US and UK box offices.
Directed by Jared Hess, the action adventure features the Aquaman star along with Jack Black and Jennifer Coolidge.
The movie landed in cinemas in April 4 and took the box office by a storm. As the film turned out a massive success, fans might be hoping to get a sequel of the flick.
The director has, therefore, teased a new entry by saying, "Oh, man. Well, it would be so much fun.”
Jared told Deadline, "We had so much fun making this movie, and it’s such an expansive world in the game, and there were so many things that we didn’t tap into that we wanted to.”
The creator is extremely happy to see that there are already talks about the sequel. He says that he would love doing an installment.
"I would have a blast doing the sequel, and it seems like there’s already talk about it happening, so I’m super excited. It’ll be so much fun to go back into the world.”
Hess continued, "The fans are just having such a good time. We teased it in the end credits, and the fans seem to be going wild for it."
