Alessia Cara issues an apology to fans after delaying tour
Alessia Cara announced that she will be delaying the U.S. leg of her tour, in a heartfelt note on social media.
The 28-year-old singer took to Instagram on Friday, March 28th, and wrote a lengthy caption to apologise.
The Scars To Your Beautiful hitmaker wrote, “It’s breaking my heart to say this, but I unfortunately have to postpone the U.S. leg of the Love & Hyperbole tour,” sharing that there are “truly so many factors” behind the decision “all of which are genuinely and completely out of my control.”
“Touring, especially today, is challenging and involves so many little moving parts. We couldn’t make it all work on time,” added the songstress.
She went on to say that “Disappointing you guys is killing me because everything I’ve put into this has been for you and I know how excited you’ve been.”
Cara concluded on a hopeful note as she added that her tour in Asia, Canada, Australia and Europe will proceed as planned, and “as soon as I have new information on the new US dates I will let you know.”
The Love & Hyperbole tour, which was released in February, was originally set to kick off from April 6th to 26th.
