Meghan Markle, who's enjoying life with Harry and their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in the US, has seemingly decided to revamp her image amid speculation of reconciliation with the royal family.
The Duchess of Sussex has been advised to take a leaf out of the Prince and Princess of Wales' book to win hearts and achieve success.
Prince Harry's wife has received massive backlash since the Duchess launched her new Netflix series 'With Love, Meghan', on March 4.
Several critics and media outlets gave the Archewell production low ratings, with some awarding the eight-part series marginally better scores. However, Meghan has not directly addressed any negative reaction.
PR and social media expert Caitlin Jardine has advised the Duchess to "remain silent.
She said: "In crisis communications, when it comes to reacting to social media, the best response is no response."
The expert went on telling GB News: "In this type of situation, there is wisdom in knowing when to remain silent and knowing when to respond."
According to Jardine, Meghan has traditionally "been bad" at staying silent however noted she has learned from her last mistakes.
She added: "She has been much more discerning over the past year, and I believe she has found a much more balanced approach to her communications."
The expert explained: "There has been so much negative sentiment towards her, and there is not yet enough goodwill in the bank to move the reputational needle sufficiently.
She revealed the truth about people and their nature, saying: "Time is a great healer, and had she waited longer, people would have had time to forget the past and would also be more intrigued with what she was now up to."
Advising Meghan to remain calm and cool, the expert said: "She just needs not to be pulled into the trap of getting into an unnecessary social media argument with anyone."
The expert lauded William and Kate's strategy, urging Meghan to adopt the same approach, adding: "She should take a lesson from her brother-in-law and sister-in-law and rise above the fray."
However, the Duchess has indirectly hit back at Netflix critics as she thanked fans for watching her show after it reached the streaming platform's Top 10 list in just 24 hours.
