'Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown says friendship doesn't come 'easily' to her
Millie Bobby Brown explains why friendship isn't one of her strongest suit
Millie Bobby Brown is reflecting on her ‘unique’ childhood as she reveals the real reason behind lacking in real-life friendships.
The actress, who is widely known for her role as Eleven in Netflix’s Stranger Things since 2016, opened up to Vanity Fair about how her childhood took a toll on her life and relationships.
She told the outlet, “I don’t have many friends because of who I am.”
The 21-year-old didn’t hesitate to share her struggles as she further went on to explain, “I didn’t go to school, so I don’t have the best social skills when it comes to people my own age and friendships. I struggle with that quite a bit.
"I missed out on a few things. But I’m working through them.”
In addition, she discussed the trolls targeting her marriage and dynamic with husband Jake Bongiovi.
Addressing the ‘housewife core’ on social media, Millie fired back with a strong response after some critics questioned her for marrying at an early age.
The Enola Holmes star said, “I’m not doing it for the aesthetic. I’m doing it because I love it.
“There are maybe some trad wives out there doing it because it seems wholesome, but it is not.
“If you’re not picking up horse s**t or washing a cow with your bare hands, then that life is not made for you. At all.”
For the unversed, the actress tied the knot with the love of her life back in May 2024 during a secret ceremony in the United States.
