Adam DeVine reflects on how fatherhood changed his life
Adam DeVine speaks on life as a new father
Adam DeVine is obsessed with fatherhood.
In chat with People, the 41-year-old actor and comedian opened up about his life as a father and how parenthood has impacted his life.
"I love it. It's brought me so much joy," he revealed.
He further shared that his only regret is not having children sooner, stating "I wish I would've had kids sooner."
The Pitch Perfect actor humorously admitted that he wanted 11 children but his wife, Chloe Bridges, is set on having just two.
DeVine playfully suggested four as he jokingly bargained with his wife, but she stood her ground.
However, it wasn’t all fun and games for the Workaholics actor, as he confessed he was extremely nervous at first about becoming a father for the first time.
"People try to scare you, but don't get scared, men," he expressed.
"I know every guy, they always have some uncle or some friend who's like, 'Get ready for your life to be over,' and they try to punk you out of it, but I'm loving every second of it."
In October 2023, he and the 33-year-old actress announced the exciting news that they were expecting a child together, over Instagram.
"Look, we're pregnant! Well I'm just fat but Chloe is pregnant with a human baby," the comedian humorously wrote in the caption.
It was only a few months later when the pair announced the birth of their son, "Meet little baby Beau DeVine! He can be fussy at times but we’ve already learned some great parenting techniques," he shared.
