Prince William, Kate Middleton share highlights of 2024 to welcome 'wonderful' 2025
The Prince and Princess of Wales release touching photos of 2024 as they wish fans happy new year
Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have released an emotional video with a powerful statement as they said farewell to 2024 and welcomed "a wonderful 2025."
William and Kate recapped the memory of 2024 in the video, posted on their official Instagram account on Tuesday.
The Prince and Princess of Wales also wrote a meaningful message along with the video, writing: "Happy New Year! Wishing you all a wonderful 2025."
The video attracted massive reactions from fans, with one responding: "Absolutely stunning! Wishing a good year of health and love to the Prince and Princess of Wales and their family."
The couple shared highlights in a series of photos from what has been an unimaginably difficult year for the royal family, as they wished their followers a happy new year.
Princess Kate and William's message for 2025 was more positive as the account wished royal fans a 'wonderful' year ahead.
Among the photos released by the couple were iconic moments from their family time in 2024 and the few engagements Kate was able to undertake while having chemotherapy.
The pictures included her poignant return to royal duties in meeting the late Liz Hatton, who died last month at the age of 17 after being diagnosed with a rare cancer.
Another highlight was a moment of joy for the family; a family still from the extraordinarily candid clip in which Kate announced she had completed chemotherapy and was focused on remaining 'cancer-free'.
