Prince William and Princess Kate set to surprise royal fans with 'special' news after 'brutal' 2024.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have dealt with a traumatic year due to the royal health woes.

In February 2024, King Charles announced his cancer diagnosis, leaving the royal family devastated. Soon after that, Catherine revealed in an emotional video message that she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy to fight cancer.

Speaking about the tragic year, William previously dubbed his loved ones' cancer journey 'brutal' and 'hardest' year of his life.

Now, the Closer magazine reported that William is seemingly preparing to celebrate his beloved wife's recovery with the renewel of marriage vows at a place close to the royal couple's heart.

The source shared, "The last year has left them closer than ever. The foundations of their marriage are impregnable and the hardship of this year has brought making time for one another so very, very important."

An insider added, "Wills is ever the romantic - Kate values their alone time, nothing is more special than having her prince to herself."

"So he's planning a romantic getaway - just the two of them - Wills has set the wheels in motion to whisk Kate away. And those close to them wouldn’t be surprised if the royal couple took this time out to reaffirm their wedding vows in a private blessing," the report revealed.

Moreover, the source claimed that the future King and Queen might spend their alone time in "Africa" and enjoy "the wildlife reserves."

"To have their wedding blessed there after 14 years would be really special," the report stated.
