Angelina Jolie claps back at reporter's 'inappropriate' question
Angelina Jolie is not coming slow as she shut down “insane questions” during her recent press tour.
The most talked-about actress in Hollywood, who is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Maria, made headlines with her surprising statement this week.
During an exclusive discussion about her upcoming biopic, Angelina was taken by surprise by The Sunday Times as a journalist inquired about her own biopic.
To which, The Tourist star couldn’t contain herself in the moment and quickly went on to say, “That gets the most insane question award.”
Reflecting on the question, she further went on to explain, “When you’re a public person and you’re playing [a character in a biopic], you’re conscious of how you would hate for somebody to interpret your life or think they understand your life. So we tried to be thoughtful.”
While she detailed her thoughts on her biopic, Angelina said that she would be more than delighted if “there isn’t one about my life.”
In other news, the 49-year-old actress opened up to IndieWire about her upcoming project, which is based on American-Greek soprano Maria Callas.
She said, "There is nothing that meets what you’re feeling like opera. The music is] so beautiful, so full of hope and so full of yearning. Opera is bigger. It is bigger than we allow ourselves to feel in every moment."
"I’m 49. I do feel like an older woman now and I embrace that."
For the unversed, Maria was scheduled to release on Netflix on Wednesday, December 11.
