Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's pal reveals truth about Sussexes
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's friend breaks silence on couple's 'divorce' rumours
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's pal has finally broken his silence to reveal the truth about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's relationship.
The couple's friend Tyler Perry waded into Harry and Meghan's divorce rumours during a glitzy red carpet event, dismissing rumours about their marriage.
In fact, on that same day, the Duke was in New York, and the Duchess was thousands of miles away in California, where Meghan posed on the red carpet at the Paley Honours Fall Gala with the filmmaker.
Perry, who offered Meghan and Harry one of his California homes to stay in when the couple first moved to the US, is also godfather to Princess Lilibet.
And at the event, Tyler gave a rare insight into Harry and Meghan's relationship, telling E! News: "They love each other. They have a beautiful family and I just want the best for them."
He also opened up about his friendship with the Sussexes and added: "It's a real, pure and beautiful friendship. I love them."
The comedian's comments come after Harry was also asked about speculation during an appearance at The New York Times 'Dealbook Summit', where he was interviewed by Andrew Sorkin.
Harry said: "Apparently we've bought or moved house maybe 10, 12 times. We've apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well."
The speculations about the couple's 'likely divorce' swelled after the two were pictured at separate public events over the last few months, as the Sussexes focus on their own work initiatives.
Meanwhile, Perry was also asked about the couple in another interview with the Sunday Times but gave a frosty response. He was asked how he helped Harry and Meghan prepare for their move to America, and the interviewer revealed the "conversational intimacy evaporated".
