Zac Efron brings back iconic look for new movie role
Zac Efron first sported the hairdo in 2008 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year'
Zac Efron made a nostalgic return to his iconic side-swept bangs hairstyle after more than a decade.
According to People, on Tuesday, November 5, the former teen heartthrob was spotted filming a movie in Los Angeles, sporting the same fringe haircut he was known for in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
During the sighting, Efron, who recently starred alongside Nicole Kidman in Netflix’s A Family Affair, sported a laid-back look in a white T-shirt layered with a grey sweatshirt, light grey sweatpants, and flip-flops.
While it's unclear which project he was working on at the time, the 37-year-old actor was announced earlier this year as the star of an upcoming film titled Famous, set to be directed by Jody Hill.
According to Deadline, The Greatest Showman actor will take on dual roles, playing "overzealous fan" Lance Dunkquist and "Hollywood heartthrob" James Jansen.
The film is based on the Blake Crouch novel of the same name.
Additionally, Efron's hairdo in the new photos is reminiscent of the look he sported in projects like High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008) and 17 Again (2009).
