Keanu Reeves gets candid about performing rigorous stunts in ‘John Wick’
Keanu Reeves shares his exhausting stunt experience while filming ‘John Wick’ movie
Keanu Reeves has recently explained how he would throw up while filming John Wick stunts.
While attending a 10th anniversary screening of first movie in Los Angeles, Keanu revealed, “I had so many wonderful teachers and guidance, and worked with so many talented actors, actresses and stunt people in the sense of it’s such a dance and collaboration and cooperation.”
The Matrix actor added, “So there’s a couple of times where you throw up or puke or whatever, but that’s what makes it good!”
Earlier in January 2023, Keanu told Total Film that he’s ever experienced the “hardest physical role” in the franchise’s fourth instalment.
“‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ was the hardest physical role I’ve ever had in my career so far,” he told the publication.
The Siberia actor mentioned, “They really trained me up to be able to have what we call the toolbox.”
In October, Keanu, who made his professional auto racing debut at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, opened up about taking his acting skills behind the wheel to the “next level” for the high-adrenaline movie.
“We took the car-driving to the next level, which I really enjoy,” he noted.
Keany added, “There’s 180s, forward-into-reverse 180s, reverse-into-forward 270s, drifting... so it was really fun to get a chance to learn those skills, and to play.”
