Taylor Swift is urging her fans to get to the polls, as Election Day nears on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
The international pop sensation, 34, slipped in the important reminder in an Instagram post on Monday, Nov. 4, reflecting on the emotional end of the U.S. leg of her Eras Tour.
“Couldn’t have asked for a more magical way to end our US shows,” Swift wrote, thanking the 207,000 fans who joined her in Indianapolis for the last three American performances.
Describing the experience as a “dreamscape,” she expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and excitement from fans. “Thank you to everyone who came out to see us on our last 3 American shows!!" she added.
But the multi-Grammy winner had more on her mind than just music. “Here’s a friendly but extremely important reminder that tomorrow is the US Election and your last chance to vote,” she noted, emphasising the significance of each voice in the presidential election.
Swift also hinted at her excitement for the tour’s next phase: Canada. “Next up: getting to finally see my beloved Canadian fans again!!” she wrote, referencing her six upcoming shows in Toronto.
This isn’t the first time Swift has voiced her political stance.
Back in September, she announced her support for Kamala Harris, sharing that she’s voting for Harris because she sees her as a “steady-handed, gifted leader.” Swift praised Harris’s selection of running mate Tim Walz, noting his advocacy for reproductive health and more.
“I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice,” she added, encouraging her fans to do the same.
