Jennifer Lopez avoids eye contact with Ben Affleck at high-profile event

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly looking away from her former husband Ben Affleck, avoiding an awkward run-in with him as they attended the same event with their children in Brentwood.

The 55-year-old actress, who is gearing up for a major comeback next year, stepped out with one of her twins Emme and some close pals for the outing on Friday, October 18.

The singer sported a stylish gray jumpsuit, with a belt wrapped around her waist. She paired it with open-toed, nude pumps.

Meanwhile, the Good Will Hunting star, who looked dapper in a light blue jeans ensemble, a bold red printed shirt and dark red jacket, was also spotted strolling in the same area alongside his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their child Fin.

During an exclusive interview with Interview Magazine, The Boy Next Door alum previously opened up about her ‘messy’ split from the Oscar winner.

Describing the separation as both ‘sad’ and ‘scary,’ she said at the time, “You have to be healthy. You have to be complete, if you want something that's more complete.”

In addition to discussing her current life, she reflected on her experience post-split in April, “You have to be good on your own. I thought I learned that, but I didn't. And then, this summer, I had to be like, "I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that.”

This comes just two months after Lopez filed for divorce from her then-husband of two years.
