Ali Wong has remained firm in her belief that family comes first and is meant to be forever, no matter what.
This is why Ali and her ex-husband, Justin Hakuta, remain close friends even after their divorce in 2022.
In an interview with InStyle, released on October 8th, the Beef actress shared, "I understand that some people really need to cut the cord, but that has never worked for me."
While their family dynamics are different, the ex-couple has managed to navigate this new chapter of their lives, cordially raising their two daughters, Mari, 8, and Niki, 6, together.
"Divorces are like snowflakes," she expressed further. "There are truly no two alike."
Wong and Hakuta's strong bond was put on display when the actress and comedian credited him in her speech as she accepted the Best Actress award in a limited series at the 2024 Golden Globes.
"I really need to thank the father of my children and my best friend, Justin, for all of your love and support,” she stated. "It's because of you that I'm able to be a working mother."
That same night, the Always Be My Maybe star and her now-romantic partner, Bill Hader, made their relationship official.
