John Travolta thinking of moving to Australia: Here’s why
John Travolta has long-time association with life in Australia, claims source
John Travolta has recently been planning to move to Australia to embrace life Down Under.
A source close to the Pulp Fiction actor spilled to New Idea revealed John is “tired” of Los Angeles’s “fast-paced lifestyle” which is why he is thinking to live in a more relaxed way of life in Australia.
“These days in LA, John barely gets recognised. It's a completely different story in Australia, where it's like Grease came out yesterday,” shared an insider.
The source told the outlet, “John loves that there's this whole country where he has consistently been famous for more than 40 years and is never disrespected.”
Another insider opened up that the actor had a long-time association with life in Australia after he co-starred with Olivia Newton-John in the smash-hit musical movie, Grease.
“A lot of that comes down to John's long, close association with the late Olivia Newton-John,” continued a tipster.
The source added, “Their friendship made him something of an honourary Aussie, and John takes that pretty seriously.”
Earlier this month, John reportedly piloted a private jet from New Zealand to Australia for the three-day stay with his daughter, 24, actress Ella Bleu and his son Benjamin, 13.
Interestingly, the Face/Off star disclosed in his previous interviews that he learned to fly at the age of 15.
However, he obtained his first jet licence in 1978 — the same year his iconic movie musical Grease premiered in theatres.
