Jennifer Lopez's first husband claims star 'moved on' after finding fame
Jennifer Lopez's marriage with Ojani Noa after one year of dating lasted only 11 months
Jennifer Lopez’s first husband, Ojani Noa, is opening up about their short-lived marriage, revealing a side of the pop icon few have seen.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Noa described their relationship as both intense and heartbreaking, claiming that once Lopez’s career skyrocketed, his role in her life diminished.
"It was so great, but at the same time so sad because we kind of knew it was the end of the road," Noa shared.
The couple tied the knot in 1997, just a year after meeting, but their marriage lasted only 11 months. According to Noa, he felt like an “uncomfortable passenger” during Lopez's rise to fame, despite being there for her from the start.
"I was the first, the pioneer. I was there at the beginning of her career supporting her, dealing with her anxieties and insecurities," he added.
Noa, now a personal trainer and actor, said he put a lot of effort into their relationship, but claimed they lacked the quality time needed to make it work.
J Lo is currently going through her fourth divorce, this time with Ben Affleck.
