Meghan Markle sends stark warning to royal family after Balmoral snub
Meghan Markle recalls her 'dark thoughts' when she was working as a British princess
Meghan Markle seemingly sent a veiled threat to the royal family with her telling comments in latest interview.
For the unversed, the Duchess of Sussex has made a headline-making appearance with her husband, Prince Harry, on CBS News, addressing the growing issue of cyberbullying and its impact on mental health.
During the conversation with host Jane Pauley, the former Suits actress reflected on her statement about battling suicidal thoughts from Oprah's bombshell show.
While discussing Meghan’s comments, royal expert and historian Dr Tessa Dunlop told The Mirror, "She talked of the need to be 'really open about it' before Meghan admitted she 'hadn't really scraped the surface' of her own pain.”
She added, "Wow. There it was, out in the open once more. The extremity of Meghan’s dark thoughts when working as a British princess."
The royal expert believes that the mother-of-three might be hinting at her future projects in which she will open up more about her mental struggles caused during her life in the UK.
Tessa shared, "Breakdown what Meghan said and her healing journey (one she believes is so important), remains incomplete. Clearly a session on Oprah was insufficient when it came to being 'really open' about her suicidal plight inside the Royal Family."
It is important to mention that Meghan and Harry left the royal family in 2020. After some time, the Montecito couple accused the key royal figures and British media of making their life difficult as working royals.
Moreover, Meghan's comments came after the pair faced a fresh blow after King Charles did not send an invitation to the Balmoral celebration to the Sussexes.
