Travis Kelce cracks jokes about 'Taylor Swift effect' after fan's praise

Travis Kelce has been riding high on a new wave of fame ever since he and Taylor Swift went public with their relationship last year, and he's clearly having fun with the buzz. 

During a recent fan interaction, Kelce turned a chance encounter into a memorable moment. 

In a viral social media clip, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end approaches a group of fans, asking, "What are you guys doing in my hallway?"

One fan responds with an over-the-top reaction, saying, "You just took my wife’s breath away, literally she just almost died."

Without missing a beat, Kelce delivers a flawless reply: "Taylor Swift effect," eliciting laughter from the crowd.

The light-hearted quip comes as Kelce has been reflecting on his relationship with Swift. 

On June 25, he shared with Barstool Sports' Bussin' With The Boys podcast that he realized he was falling for Swift because of her genuine nature and ability to stay grounded despite the frenzy surrounding her. 

He praised her ability to remain "chill and cool" even amid the chaos, highlighting her self-awareness and supportive presence, which he finds truly special.
