Mamie Laverock’s family decided to discontinue her GoFundMe page two months after the actress encountered a "medical emergency."
People reported on Saturday, July 20, that the When Calls the Heart star’s family offered an update on the GoFundMe page earlier this week.
Her mother, Nicole Rockman, and her stepfather, Rob Compton, included a message from the 20-year-old actress herself in the post.
"Thank you so much. I don’t even know what to do. My heart is full," the message from Laverock read in the Wednesday, July 17, post.
In the heartwarming note, she continued to express her utmost gratitude.
"Thank you again. I have no words to describe my gratitude. I love you guys. Thank you," she penned before ending the note with, "MAMIE."
In addition to the young actress’s outpour of gratitude, her parents thanked everyone who supported the family in difficult situations, noting their decision to end the fundraising effort on social media.
"The Fund has now closed. Please know how much you helped this family in our hardest circumstances. Thank you for caring. Warmth, Nicole and Rob," they wrote in the Wednesday update.
It is pertinent to note that the family’s decision to end the page comes after they have reached $39,022 of its $30,000 goal (in Canadian dollars) on the fundraising platform.
