George, Charlotte might miss sports event as William, Kate take on solo engagements
Princess Kate will attend the men's singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday afternoon
The Prince and Princess of Wales will decide if their two eldest children will accompany them to major sporting events tomorrow.
Kensington Palace announced this morning that Princess Kate will attend the men's singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday afternoon. Last year, Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined their parents at the Wimbledon final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.
Both Kensington Palace and Wimbledon confirmed that the Princess will have the same role on Sunday, despite missing Saturday's women's singles final.
George and Charlotte might join their mother again, but they could also attend the Euro 2024 final in Germany with their father, where England will face Spain.
Prince William, as President of the Football Association, has already attended two England matches during the tournament this summer. He brought George to the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United at Wembley in May.
Prince George is an avid football fan and might prefer to cheer on Gareth Southgate’s team in their quest to win the Euros. If England wins, the players will meet Prince William and King Charles at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. There has been no official announcement about which event the children will attend on Sunday.
Princess Kate's youngest child, Prince Louis, is unlikely to accompany his father to Germany but could make his Wimbledon debut tomorrow.
Last year, the Princess mentioned that Louis was "very upset" about missing the tournament. It’s also possible that both William and Kate will attend their events solo without their children.
