Brad Pitt’s co-star Damson Idris has recently praised the actor for his performance in upcoming movie, F1.
In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Damson said, “Brad’s humility is second to none.”
“I don’t know if people know this, but he is really good behind that car. Really good. Too good almost. He makes me nervous how good he is,” remarked the 32-year-old.
The Snowfall actor opened up about his first day of filming the new movie, stating, “I look to my left, it’s Brad Pitt.”
“I look to my right, it’s Javier Bardem. I look at my hands, they’re shaking. And we shoot all of this epic stuff and all the amazing drivers are there, from Lewis [Hamilton] to [Max] Verstappen to everyone,” he explained.
Elsewhere in the interview, Damson also gushed over the director Joseph Kosinski.
“He is a director’s director. He is the epitome of cinema in my opinion,” continued the actor.
Damson told the outlet, “The feeling I felt when I walked out of Top Gun was how I felt when I was a kid and I watched E.T. or Star Wars. Those movies are just defined by one thing: entertainment.”
Earlier in July 2023, Brad discussed about his character and premise of the movie in an interview with Sky Sports F1.
“I would be a guy who raced in the '90s. He has a horrible crash and kind of craps out and disappears and then is racing in other disciplines,” shared the Troy star.
“Idris’ character brings [him] in as kind of a Hail Mary and hijinks ensue,” he added.
