Shaun White expresses his excitement for travelling to new destinations with girlfriend Nina Dobrev
Shaun White has recently dished out travel details with his girlfriend Nina Dobrev after she recovered from dirt bike accident earlier this month.
Speaking with PEOPLE, the five-time Olympian said, “Nina has probably got another week or two and then she's off crutches which will be really nice.”
Sharing about his destination, Shaun revealed, “We're planning on going to the Summer Olympics and cheer on some friends out there in skateboarding and fencing.”
Addressing Nina’s recovery phase, the WhiteSpace founder stated, “She's such a trooper. I mean, she really took her recovery so seriously.”
He told the outlet, “She's icing, she's taking peptides, she's doing this everyday therapy. She's honestly more diligent than I was even while I was competing.”
“So, she's bounced back really quickly,” remarked the actress’ boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Shaun also expressed his concerns about attending games with Nina after the accident in July.
“I'm a little nervous about the games with her — that's a lot of walking. We'll just get her some type of chair or something, but we'll style it out with some streamers and we'll make it festive,” he quipped.
Shaun also opened up about visiting friend Aaron Paul in Idaho with Nina.
He mentioned, “We went there last summer and Paul has invited us back, so I'm so thrilled.
“It’s fun because it feels like family time. So, we're excited to go hang with him out there,” he added.
