King Charles ignores public outcry to protect 'crown jewel' Kate Middleton
Kate Middleton is not expected to return to royal duties anytime soon
King Charles has joined forces with palace aides to protect Princess Kate from negative press as she continues to brave through her health battle.
The Princess of Wales has regularly been dubbed ‘monarchy’s future’ since her triumphant return to the public eye at Trooping the Colour earlier this month.
She had been under intense media scrutiny over her whereabouts after she announced a break from royal duties following her diagnosis with an undisclosed form of cancer.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, royal expert Ian Pelham Turner claimed the royal family is determined to remain discreet about Kate’s health in an attempt to avoid breach of privacy.
"The reality is nobody really knows how Kate is," he said. "There are many whispers by those who wish to further their careers. But in reality, when the royal family wishes to close the doors on the world, they have had centuries of practice in the art."
"In the past few days, Kate has been stated by the global press as the royal family’s jewel in the crown," Turner noted. "She [is seen as] the number one royal… stabilizing the monarchy's future."
Meanwhile, British broadcaster Helena Chard claimed the princess has been able to tune out outside noise with the help of love from her extended family, including King Charles, who is not rushing her return to royal duties despite its consequences for the monarchy.
“The love of her extended family gives her huge hope,” she shared. “King Charles has said that they are very lucky to have her as a beloved member of the royal family."
