Prince Harry feels sorry for past mistakes
Royal Family leaves Prince Harry in 'painful' situation
Prince Harry is sad to be in 'painful place' after royal family's brutal snub over the Duke's past mistakes.
The Duke of Sussex has reportedly found himself in intense stress for the comments he and Meghan made in past years about the royal family.
Harry made countless shocking revelations about the royal family in his memoir, released in January, 2023. Royal commentators and historians at the time said that the Duke "will come to regret" the comments he made about his family.
The father-of-two has seen himself frozen out of family engagements. He was not invited to Trooping the Colour festivities earlier this month, and was "left upset" by having to watch Kate's return from his Southern California home, a source has claimed.
Harry would have "done anything" to be invited to the King's official birthday celebrations, and would have allegedly even gone alone - sidelining the under-fire Duchess of Sussex in the process, according to the source.
"He's heartbroken and confused by the way they’ve cut him off and seemingly haven’t given it another thought. He would have dearly loved to have been there, if only to congratulate and support Kate in person on what must have been an incredibly difficult day for her," a royal insider told Closer magazine.
Royal expert Tessa Dunlop previously told Us Weekly: "When you do discover that your sister-in-law has cancer and you’ve written stuff that can’t be retracted, that’s quite a painful place to be in. I’m not saying it isn’t."
Dunlop said that the criticisms made in past years by Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, of the royal family have aged badly now that both the Princess of Wales and King Charles are battling cancer.
The expert warned that Harry and Meghan will now have to think twice before making any further revelations about their royal relatives.
