Dawson Creek's Katie Holmes delves into new career away from acting
Katie Holmes got candid about considering other career options
Katie Holmes recently gave update on her entirely new career away from the big screen.
Speaking to The Sunday newspaper, the 45-year-old actress talked about pursuing a career in writing fiction books and expressed interest in launching her own beauty line.
The actress, who shares a daughter with Tom Cruise, revealed her plans in a new interview: "I'd like to continue to write and direct my own films. Maybe write a few books - fiction [...] I would love to [launch a beauty line]."
Holmes, who rose to fame after her work on teen show Dawson’s Creek in the 1990s and has invested quite a lot of time in writing and directing films, is planning to work on fiction novels.
Although Katie is already working on various fashion projects, including her recent collaboration with French brand APC, she is still looking out for other opportunities.
This came after she recounted her experience on Dawson’s Creek, admitting she never wanted to be objectified on screen or in publicity shoots since she just wanted to be "an actor."
