Sharon Osbourne recalls ‘terrible’ moment after daughter’s ‘hard’ decision
Sharon Osbourne shares it was difficult for her to travel the world without Aimee
Sharon Osbourne recounted the unlikely moment in her life that she had to suffer because of her daughter, Aimee.
The actress disclosed that she "felt terribly” ill after knowing that Aimee is not interested to be the part of their hit family reality series, The Osbournes.
Osbourne, 71, was asked at the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast how she handled her daughter’s decision to stay out of the limelight.
“Yes it was [a discussion] in the beginning,” she said. “It was very, very hard on me because we were traveling all over the world, we were doing a million things and Aimee wasn’t a part of it. It made me feel terrible because I didn’t have my whole family.”
“She just didn’t want the attention. She was 18, that’s a tough age for a girl, and she just didn’t want it.”
Although, Osbourne’s daughter gained notoriety in the musical field with stage name ARO, still hasn’t shown interest in joining reality series.
“She doesn’t like it, no. She loves writing, she loves singing, but she doesn’t want to be a pop star,” she said. “She wants to be a professional singer and writer. That’s it. She’s not looking for fame and power. She’s happy doing what she does.”
