Priscilla Presley shows support to Riley Keough over Graceland foreclosure auction
Priscilla Presley hits out at the private company behind Graceland's foreclosure sale
Priscilla Presley has recently showed her support to Riley Keough, calling Graceland estate's foreclosure auction "a scam" on social media.
Taking to Instagram on May 21 after Riley's lawsuit was made public, Priscilla, the former wife of late Elvis Presley, shared a photo of Graceland with the inscription, "It's a scam," emblazoned over it in bright red.
Elvis' fans shared their reaction to the post, with one wrote, "Thank you for setting the record straight per usual Cilla! And for always keeping Elvis's legacy intact and everlasting. We love you."
Another user remarked, "For everyone confused: There was news that Graceland was going for foreclosure auction but that’s not true at all so Cilla is saying it’s a scam."
"Merci Priscilla... We know what Graceland means to you and you will never let this happen," added a third user.
On May 20, Priscilla's granddaughter Riley, who is the sole trustee of her late mom Lisa Marie Presley's estate, The Promenade Trust, reportedly filed a lawsuit seeking to block Naussany Investments & Private Lending LLC (NIPL, LLC) from selling the home.
For the unversed, the private company earlier filed a lawsuit in September against Lisa Marie, who the company alleged failed to repay $3.8 million loan from 2018.
In the lawsuit, Riley alleged that the company behind the foreclosure sale, were “fraudulent".
