Oleksandr Usyk to lose world heavyweight title just days after Tyson Fury win

Ukrainian boxer Oleksander Usyk defeated British boxer Tyson Fury to win the world's first undisputed heavyweight championship, but he will soon be stripped of his title.

Currently, Usyk is in possession of the World Boxing Association (WBA), International Boxing Federation (IBF), World Boxing Organisation (WBO), and World Boxing Council (WBC) world heavyweight titles.

However, Usyk will have to give up the championship or forfeit it in the next two weeks since Daniel Dubois and Filip Hrgovis are set to fight on June 1 in Saudi Arabia.

The winner of the match will face British boxer Anthony Joshua, who is a two-time former unified world heavyweight champion.

After the match on Saturday, Fury and Dubois sports promoter Frank Warren said, "Usyk has done something no one else has done. He's unified the four belts. Four belts on the line are the start. I'm quite sure they'll fragment after that. And then it'll happen again."

The Croatian star, Hrgovic, is unbeaten in 17 pro fights.

In addition, a rematch between Uskyk and Fury is expected in October this year. The WBA (super), IBF, and WBO world titles will be on the line for the proposed fight.
