Will Smith recently teased details of upcoming film I Am Legend 2 alongside Michael B. Jordan.
Speaking exclusively to Entertainment Tonight about the highly anticipated sequel, Smith gave a promising update and revealed that he and Jordan “had a couple weeks together about a month ago."
He added: "I think it's looking good. [We have some] really solid ideas... I think we're going to make it on screen together. That dude is the truth, so I would love to do that."
In the upcoming film based on the 1954 Richard Matheson novel, Smith plays the role of scientist Robert Neville.
The plot revolves around the scientist who escapes the disease that spread among humans turning them into zombie-like creatures.
The Men in Black star took to his Instagram to post a photo of a deserted street, tagging Jordan along at the center of the image.
Smith told the outlet that he and Jordan created a “really, really cool concept.”
Continuing on the subject, he added at the time: "It was one of those ones I was gonna leave alone, and then I heard the idea.”
For the unversed, the 55-year-old actor confirmed that there would be high elements of “fidelity” to Matheson’s novel in the upcoming film.
