Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin exercised caution during the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards on Thursday, deliberately steering clear of any encounters with her ex-husband Blake Shelton and his wife Gwen Stefani. 

According to a source speaking to DailyMail.com, the couple was determined not to engage in any potentially awkward interactions amidst the public eye. D

espite no ill feelings, Lambert opted to maintain distance from Shelton to avoid any unnecessary spectacle, although she remains amicable towards him. 

Negotiating this avoidance wasn't simple, considering both couples graced the red carpet albeit at separate times.

The couple took the stage at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, with Lambert performing first followed closely by Shelton and Stefani. Lambert and Shelton were previously married from 2011 to 2015.

Miranda Lambert, the celebrated country music sensation at 40, alongside her 31-year-old partner, Brendan McLoughlin, a dedicated police officer, as they graced the red carpet in their finest attire.

The House That Built Me star captivated wore a black gown, accentuated by a daring thigh-high slit, while McLoughlin emanated sophistication in a timeless suit. 

Their presence led a parade of luminaries at the gala, including Jelly Roll, Reba McEntire, Kelsea Ballerini, and Lainey Wilson. 

Notable performers at the event included Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett, and Chris Stapleton, with anticipated duets featuring Ballerini alongside breakout singer Noah Kahan.
