Liam Payne's ex Maya Henry rehashes 'painful' experience during relationship
Liam Payne’s ex Maya Henry revealed she was forced to get an abortion
Liam Payne’s ex Maya Henry recently revealed that she struggled with pressure ahead of getting abortion in her past relationship.
Henry opened up about being given an ultimatum by a “former” partner to get an abortion or breakup.
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE about a difficult time, she said she “wouldn’t have done” the procedure if it were up to her.
Payne’s former partner explained: "If it were up to me, I wouldn't have done it," the model told the outlet. "But then also, if I were to have made a different decision, then I would've lost the person that I loved."
Rehashing the hysterics, the 23-year-old recalled that she had “difficult conversations” with her ex.
She further added: "But looking back now, things happen for a reason."
This comes ahead of the release of her new novel, Looking Forward which she explained is “inspired by true events.”
The novel that she claims is based on her personal life, revolves around a fictional setup of a model’s thundering relationship with a British pop star.
The model, Mallory decides to move forward with abortion after her boyfriend threatens to walk out on her if she doesn’t.
Drawing comparisons between the two, Henry revealed: "What I went through in real life is very similar to what Mallory went through in the book. I definitely did have some complications, and I did have to go to the hospital alone."
For the unversed, the One Direction alum and the novelist officially called it quits in 2022 after going public in 2019.
