Star footballer posts bold message for his teammates at Al Nassr after they defeated Al-Akhdoud
Star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo posted a bold message for his teammates at Al Nassr after they defeated Al-Akhdoud in the Saudi Pro League.
The legendary footballer gave up a spectacular performance and led his side to a two-goal lead in the opening quarter. However, the opposing side defiantly fought back and leveled the score.
Goal reported that Marcelo Brozovic hit the last goal for Al Nassr during late stoppage time to ensure his side’s 3-2 victory on Thursday evening at Prince Hathloul bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium.
The latest victory marked the team’s 25th Saudi Pro League win of the season, but their three points might prove to be too low to grab this season’s championship as they are 11 points behind Al Hilal.
Moreover, Al Hilal still have a game left. But despite their slim chances, the Portuguese was happy with his fellow team members’ performance and belted out a rallying call following the thrilling victory.
In a post on Instagram, in which he included several images, Ronaldo wrote: "Never give up! LET'S GO!!"
The forward player is in superb form as she smashed his 48th goal in his 47th appearance of this season, his best since the 2015-16 season when he played for Real Madrid and socred 51 goals.
